Soteria Business School is a unique educational establishment located in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State. Soteria flows the opposite way. We are different and make a difference. Soteria is approved by the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The monotechnic offers national diploma courses in Accountancy, Business Administration and Management, and Computer Science.
Soteria Business School ran the two-year full-time course in Administration, Business and IT at diploma level and awarded the prestigious Chichester College Diploma from the United Kingdom from 2009 to 2019. Soteria also issued a National Innovation Diploma (NID) in Business Informatics, Computer Software Engineering, and Computer Hardware Engineering from 2020.
Soteria has successfully empowered students to complete their Accounting Technician Scheme (ATS) 1,2, and 3 in accounting and acquire qualifications with ICAN. Chartered Accountants have been raised at and through Soteria Business School.
Today, Soteria Business School offers National Diplomas (ND’s) in Accountancy, Business Administration and Management, and Computer Science.
Purpose
Soteria Business School delivers practical skills and academic training with qualifications that bring success and growth. Soteria graduates are equipped in management, business, leadership, and IT. The Soteria vision is to provide what is necessary for graduates to secure good jobs, create a business and/or proceed to higher education and gain qualifications. The vision is to enable its students to be people of: integrity, compassion, dedication, and are of benefit to society. Our vison is for students to develop and grow academically and spiritually and to become complete and honourable.
Leadership
Rev Andy Economides (UK) is the founder of Soteria Business School. With over three decades of regular charitable work in Ibadan. He is also the founding director of Soteria Trust a UK charitable organisation (Registered Charity No. 1040766). Rev Andy has the strongest commitment to Nigeria, and especially young people. Mrs Tomi was appointed rector at Soteria Business School by Rev Andy.
